About ECP Programme

Overview ECP programme is a service which enable sales of SMS and WAP content using Maxis as a connection and billing platform.   Content delivered and chargeable: - via SMS includes mono ringtones, black and white operator logo’s Black and white pictures, text based services, etc - via WAP includes rich contents such as polyphonic ringtones, colored pictures,     screensavers, Java applications such as Java games, etc Information on demand (IOD)   Products Products found under ECP programme are: ECP Premium SMS - offers content providers to send mobile content to Maxis mobile subscribers via SMS. ECP WAP - allows Content Providers to provide services or downloadables to Maxis mobile subscribers via WAP. ECP MMS - MMS Channel offers content providers to send multimedia content to Maxis subscribers involving image & sound clip or combination of both with text via MMS. This channel can be used by Content Providers for providing value added services, from various multimedia resources, content provision to marketing and advertisement etc ECP Video based Services - ECP Video based Services offers content providers to provide video services to Maxis mobile subscribers to allow users to select and watch/listen video or audio content on demand. The video based services involve various models and payment mechanism associated with it to provide the video services to the end customers. ECP USSD - USSD channel offers content providers a USSD menu based services to Maxis mobile subscribers. The USSD menu will be managed by the respective content provider. All contents requested via this channel (i.e. ECP USSD) will be delivered via the existing channels like ECP Premium SMS, ECP MMS & ECP WAP.
