What is Maxis Preventive Gateway (MPG)? |
| |
Maxis Preventive Gateway (MPG) is a platform developed to automate the Guidelines on the Provisions of Mobile Content and Services. |

What is testing required by a content provider before launch of new services? |
| |
There are 3 testing stages in total.
Connectivity/Error Handling
to check the connectivity between CP and Maxis servers. It also tests the applications and to validate testing at both sides by
posting a sample MO & MT messages with both valid and invalid data to obtain an appropriate response.
(Note: Message ID should always be unique for MT messages.)
Integration Test
it’s an end-to-end test on production to test all the components in the complete value chain (from SMSC to CP)
User Acceptance Test (UAT)
CP should test with all valid and invalid response using prepaid and postpaid mobile number by requesting premium and non premium content via sms and submit the UAT form to MPG team for verification. The UAT will also cover verifications on charging accuracy as well. |

What could be reason of MT Delay? |

Due to peak hours, CP may experiences some delay of delivery where all MT will be simultaneously validated at MPG level. |

Why CP keeps receives an Error Code 403 when push the MT to the user? |

Subscriber/User typed in a wrong keyword |

Why the CP received error 407 when push the MT to MPG? |
| |
a. CP didn’t cleanup database based on recycle list or DN status 55
b. Subscriber send in STOP MO, but not updated in CP’s database. CP can download the STOP MO from ECP portal.
c. Subscriber didn’t send MO to request for service.

CP has exceeded the approved premium MT Push Frequency for IOD service |

Why CP unable to connect to SFTP server? |
| |
It may due to CP server busy. CP is advised to check their connection. If the problem still persists, please escalate to MPG support (mxpg@maxis.com.my). |

Why the DN files is incomplete in SFTP Server? |

It may be due to file was not loaded completely, or there is no Premium MT transaction.
In the event of such occurrence, please escalate to MPG support for further investigation via (mxpg@maxis.com.my)
